Merry Christmas … and Looking Ahead

Merry Christmas

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Many folks here in the Tri-Cities are putting the finishing touches on their celebration. Here at headquarters (otherwise known as our family home in Coquitlam) we’re doing the same thing. However, we’d like to take a quick break from our preparations to wish you and your family and friends the very merriest of Christmases. We hope that your celebration is joyful and peaceful and full of all good things.

When my husband Jon started this website almost seven years ago in April, 2009 he had a goal. He wanted to get to know the people who live, work and play here in the Tri-Cities. He wanted to create a sense of community for himself and our young family, and help connect others to all the things that make this such a great place to call home. At this time of year, more than any other, we feel those connections very strongly, and we’re incredibly grateful for them. Thank you so much for coming along on the journey with us. We couldn’t ask for a better Christmas gift.

Our family looks much different today than it did in April of 2009. Our children are older. Our careers have changed. Our connections have changed. Our life circumstances have changed. Just as the Tri-Cities have grown, we have grown. On the whole it’s been overwhelmingly positive. But sometimes with change you must examine what is and isn’t working in your life. And so it is with great sadness that we have have decided that we can no longer invest the necessary time in keeping this site running regularly. In 2016 we will no longer be updating

We hope you’ll stop by over the next week. We will be taking a couple of days off for Christmas but then we will be back to thank the people who have helped us build this little corner of the Internet. And please do check back for our final post on December 31, 2015.

Until then, thank you for coming along for the journey. Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!
