Pro-D days and non-instructional days have a way of really sneaking up on parents. For those of us with children in public schools in the Tri-Cities there’s another one coming up on November 20, 2015. Wondering what your children can do during their day off? We have a few suggestions.

Port Moody Arts Centre

Port Moody Arts Centre offer full day activities for Pro-D and Administrative Days, like the one on November 20, 2015. Classes include pottery, painting and other art projects. In addition to arts classes there is a one hour outdoor lunchtime activity is held at the park located on St. George Street, weather permitting. After-camp care is also available from 3:00-5:00pm for $10.00 per day.

City of Coquitlam

Looking for something to do with your children on these Pro-D or non-instructional days? The City of Coquitlam has a couple of fun options. Gym & Swim at Centennial Activity Centre is an all-day camp for kids aged 7 to 12. The Pinetree Pro-D Day Extravaganza promises lots of fun for kids aged 6 to 12. Both camps run from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Kerrigan Children’s Active Learning Centre

On all School district 43 professional days and non-instructional days and breaks Kerrigan offers a simple affordable camp for children aged three years and up in Coquitlam. After all of the activities, games, gymnastics class and learning opportunities, the kids won’t want to leave. Half-day and full-day options are available.

PoCo Youth

Why should little kids have all the fun? Have fun and stay active on your day off. Youth can enjoy a day of sports, arts and crafts, swimming or skating and more from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre in Port Coquitlam.

Personal Best Martial Arts

Personal Best Martial Arts in Port Coquitlam is running a karate camp on November 20, 2015 from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Kids will learn about the benefits of Martial Arts or increase their ability. If they’re already a student, it will get them a stripe. The camp will also involve a Nerf war.
