Get in the Holiday Spirit in Port Moody

This Christmas season, join Caelestra in Port Moody for an evening of beautiful Yuletide music both old and new. Caelestra is a Canadian Medieval-Celtic folk band, founded by well known Celtic flautist and singer Michelle Carlisle, Vancouver songwriter, Celtic harpist, songwriter and composer Britta Curkovic, and classically trained soprano Lambroula Maria Pappas. Joining them are the passionate rhythms of percussionist Sacha Levin, and the gorgeous cello lines of Spanish inspired cellist, Cyrena Huang. Together, the members of Caelestra will take you on a journey back in time and around the globe.

With the five talented musicians performing in full medieval costume, rich vocal harmonies, and music played on flute, harp, guitars, hand drums and cello, this concert will keep you captivated from beginning to end. It will also be totally different from anything else you do this holiday season.

Caelestra will entertain you with jigs and reels, soul-stirring ballads, sprightly renaissance tunes, and traditional Celtic and Christmas music. And with 50% of ticket sales going to Beyond Soup and Socks: Housing for All, you’ll feel good about going. This is definitely a concert you will want to make sure not to miss holiday season.

There are three concert dates to choose from, the first of which is happening on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 7:30pm at St. Andrew’s United Church in Port Moody. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 in children. You can get yours online in advance, or at the door.
