Stage 43 Presents Men are Dogs

Stage43 Men Are Dogs Evergreen Coquitlam

Stage 43 is a local not-for-profit community theatre company that was founded in 1982. For over 30 years this amateur company has been producing quality theatrical productions in the Tri-Cities area. Every year they produce several full-length productions ranging from popular comedies to mysteries to dramas. Their shows appear on stage at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam.

Stage 43’s member live, and many also work, in the Tri-Cities. They love to “play” in live theatre, and they hold “day” jobs such as paralegals, millwrights, education administrators, painters, sales representatives, property managers, home-makers, hairdressers and retired accountants.

The latest production from Stage 43, Men are Dogs, appears at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam from October 15 to 18 and October 21 to 24, 2015. Audience members will sit in on Dr. Cecilia Monahan’s support group for single and divorced women. Her ensemble of neurotic patients will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter when a “volunteer” role-player becomes the innocent victim of their not-inconsiderable wrath. But don’t bring the kids: this show contains mature subject matter.

Men are Dogs is written by Joe Simonelli and directed by Richard Wiens. It is presented by special permission of Samuel French, Inc.
