Place des Arts Open House 2015

Place Des Arts Family Open House 2012

Summer is still in full swing. But as we barrel towards the middle of August it’s time to start thinking about what you and your kids would like to do this fall. If you’re thinking of trying something new , or wanting to brush up on your music, art or dance skills, you’ll want to add Place des Arts’ free Annual Open House on Saturday, September 12, 2015 to your calendar. The event runs from 2:00 to 4:00pm, and offers an informative and entertaining way for the whole family to discover all that the Coquitlam arts centre has to offer.

Each September, Place des Arts hosts an all-ages community open house and invites everyone to attend this entertaining and informative free event. Come and discover what the arts centre in Coquitlam has to offer for the season!

The open house is a great opportunity to meet many fabulous teachers, talk to programmers, watch a class demonstration, enter to win prizes and participate in fun visual and performing arts activities. As an added bonus, if you register for a class during the open house, you’ll receive up to $10 off your registration fee (one per family). This year there’s also a new activity, as you could win a prize with your passport to the arts.

The first thing to do when you get to the open house is grab your passport to the arts. Then take it around to each fun station, fill it out and get it stamped to be entered into a draw for a chance to win great prizes! Up for grabs are three Place des Arts gift certificates valued at $50, $75 or $100 that you can use towards Place des Arts class or lesson registration.

Admission to the open house is free, but they’d love to know if you’re coming or not. To RSVP, go to Brown Paper Tickets. To find out more about Place des Arts and browse 2015/2016 class offerings, visit
