Participate in Port Moody’s Day of Arts

Day of Arts 2015

We recently filled you in on some of the events happening in the Tri-Cities for Culture Days 2015. This three-day festival encourages Canadians to get out in their own communities and take a walk on the creative side. Every year, on the Culture Days weekend, thousands of artists, individuals, organizations and communities offer free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate “behind the scenes,” to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, and designers at work. Go for events happening across Canada!

One of the not-to-be-missed Culture Days events happening locally is Port Moody’s Day of Arts celebration on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at the Port Moody Civic Centre. As a proud supporter of Culture Days, the City of Port Moody is hosting this event. The afternoon promises to showcase visual artists, musicians and performers, plus the best food and beverage the city has to offer. What’s not to love?

To make their Day of Arts a success, the city is currently looking for Port Moody visual artists, musicians, performers and food and beverage retailers. They really want to make this a day of celebration of the arts in Port Moody.
