Girls Night Out 2015

Port Moody Arts Centre Girls Night Out

Does a night out with the girls, filled with appies, fashion, beauty, art and comedy, sound like a good time? If so, the annual Girls Night Out event presented by the Port Moody Arts Centre is for you. On Friday, August 7, 2015 the event returns to Inlet Theatre and the City Hall Galleria with a South Asian twist. That’s right, this time Port Moody goes Bollywood.

The event starts at 6:30 in the Galleria with the reception. You will enjoy fashion, beauty and art demos along with complimentary Indian Cuisine appetizers, cash bar with signature cocktails and exciting raffle prizes. Beauty pampering demos include Cleopatra Brow Bar, KC London Nail Design, Shoppers Drug Mart, Skoah, and Spa Divine. Themed dress is encouraged!

At 8:00pm the action moves from the Galleria to Inlet Theatre as the comedy show kicks off. The fabulously hilarious Erica Sigurdson returns as emcee along with Melanie Rose and Fatima Dhowre for Act One. You’ll take a break for intermission to enjoy complimentary dessert and tea. You can refresh your cocktail, mingle with friends and take advantage of your last chance to purchase raffle tickets. Then head back to the theatre where Jane Stanton will take to the stage as headliner.

As if all this weren’t enough, the event is for a good cause. The evening is a fundraiser for Port Moody Arts Centre’s Making it Work campaign.

Tickets are $45 each, or $40 for groups of six or more. Note that in order to receive the group rate all tickets must be purchased in a single transaction. You can get your general admission tickets online at and your seating will be assigned to you. Or, stop by Scotiabank Port Moody at 2501 St. Johns Street. If you take the time to drop by you will be able to reserve your seat. Plus, Scotiabank Port Moody will match all tickets sales purchased through their branch.
