Teddy Bear Concert, Parade and Picnic Take Over Coquitlam

Teddy Bear Picnic Coquitlam 2015

Families take note: Festival Coquitlam is presenting three fun-filled, teddy bear themed events on June 13 and 14, 2015. So round up the kids – and the teddy bears – and get ready to take part.

Teddy Bear Family Concert

Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:30pm
Town Centre Park, Coquitlam

This promises to be a fun evening of music for children of all ages! The free event kicks off with local favourite Tony Prophet from 3:00-3:20pm. Then popular children’s entertainers Bobs & LoLo hit the stage from 3:30-4:15pm, and finally Charlotte Diamond will wow the crowd from 4:30-5:30pm. And don’t forget to bring your teddy bears because teddy bears like music too.

Coquitlam Grande Parade

Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 9:45 to 11:00am
Burlington Drive, Coquitlam

Bring your teddy bears to watch the parade to Town Centre Park! This event is free. The exact route, however, is still to be announced.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 11:00am to 4:00pm
Town Centre Park, Coquitlam

This event is fun for all young children – featuring storytelling, puppet shows, rovers, gymnastics and more. The Main Stage features entertainment from Tony Prophet, the Genuine Jug Band, Will Stroet and Mr. I. Admission is $3 for the picnic, but kids three and under are free. Teddy Bear Picnic wristbands are already available for purchase at Poirier Sport and Leisure Centre, City Centre Aquatic Complex, Pinetree Community Centre and Club Aviva.
