Coquitlam’s 2015/2016 Travel and Experience Guide Available

2015 Coquitlam Travel Guide

Rendezvous Coquitlam, the City of Coquitlam’s 2015/2016 Travel and Experience Guide, is now available online and at city facilities, visitor centres and other locations throughout Coquitlam and British Columbia.

The guide was released just in time for the Victoria Day long weekend, and it aims to promote the city’s many tourism assets and recreation opportunities all-year-round. Plus, locals, take note: it’s not just for tourists. The 22015/2016 Travel and Experience Guide is also a valuable tool for local residents who have friends and family visiting as well as staycationers looking for fun ideas closer to home.

Rendezvous Coquitlam highlights Coquitlam’s unique experiences and amenities including outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and birding; City facilities with a feature on Town Centre Park; recreational opportunities and city attractions; shopping, dining and nightlife outings; information on exciting cultural festivals; a self-guided public art tour; seasonal event guide; and a travel map.

The Guide also highlights Quintessential Coquitlam experiences and Not Your Everyday Excursions such as the Coquitlam Crunch Trail, Mackin House Museum, SPARC Radio Museum and Centennial Rose Garden and more.

Coquitlam’s Tourism Office will be distributing over 25,000 free copies to city facilities, local businesses, airports and visitor information centres, as well as other locations with high visibility to attract day-trippers and overnight-stay visitors. Coquitlam residents can also collect copies at events throughout the year, including Canada Day and the BC Highland Games.

Don’t feel like taking the time to track down a hard copy, or want to access it on the go? Rendezvous Coquitlam can also be viewed online at www.coquitlam.ca/explore. And, of course, stay tuned right here at TheV3H.com to find out what’s happening around the Tri-Cities all year long.
