See Second Storey Theatre in Their New Home

Second Storey Theatre Port Coquitlam

Second Storey Theatre was one of the Tri-Cities’ best-kept secrets, with their space above the Dairy Queen in downtown Port Coquitlam. That theatre closed last summer, though, which was a blow to local arts and culture. The company is still going strong, though, and they’ve made a new home just east of their old one at Terry Fox Theatre. You can stop by and see them there every Tuesday night at the weekly Tuesday Comedy Showcase.

You’re invited to see the Tri-Cities’ best Improv Company rock their new space at the Terry Fox Studio Theatre! The shows are a mix of your favorite improv games and new never before seen formats the company is working on. There will always be a blend of familiar faces and guest stars thrown into each show. For instance, this past week they welcomed Nicole Passmore and Shawn Norman to come and play. They also had FROSH open the show with a format they have been working on.

The shows kick off at 7:30pm, and all tickets are sold at the door. And that is the best part, because tickets are just $5 each, or $2 for students with valid ID. Plus, parking is free. It’s a great, affordable date night.
