“Aussie” New Year’s Eve

This is your chance to enjoy all the fun of New Year’s Eve without the price tag. It’s a New Year’s Eve prequel in honour of those Down Under who are ringing in 2015 a little earlier than the rest of use. Enjoy a special menu, champagne, party favours and the popular Laugh with the DAM Stars show. No need to scramble to find an overpriced sitter and an even more overpriced cab with this one. Just remember to book early for best seating!

New Year’s Eve at the Giggle Dam

Bring in 2015 with a hilarious bang as the DAM cast lets loose with the celebrated Laugh with the DAM Stars show. This comedic, once a year only, musical extravaganza features a six piece live band and a plethora of well known celebrity impersonations. Celine Dion, Garth Brooks, Cher, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart and the DAM’s resident king, Elvis Presley will provide something for everyone and will keep all in stitches the whole night through! Chef Pieter J Van Meenen kicks it up in the kitchen and they provide the DAM champagne and party favours for the big countdown. This event always sells out, so don’t wait to book!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2015

This annual professional fireworks display will ring in the New Year on the field at Maple Creek Middle School. Started by a pair of local students who went on to become licensed pyrotechnicians, it just keeps growing. The show begins right at midnight, but you’re invited to come at around 11:00pm to enjoy music and meet with your family and friends. Donations are appreciated and will be accepted at the show.

Latin Dance Party

This New Year’s Eve party features all night dancing with Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-cha-cha, Cumbia and more. Ring in 2015 with your dancing shoes on! There will be all night dancing, appetizers and desserts, and champagne at midnight. Dress to impress! Tickets are $33 before December 26, 2014, $35 before December 30 and $40 at the door. Parking is free.

Party 2015 with Loverboy

Canadian icons Loverboy will rock in the New Year at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. Formed in 1979 in Calgary when vocalist Mike Reno was introduced to local guitar hot shot Paul Dean, Loverboy went on to sell more than 10 million albums with four being certified Multi-Platinum. Quiring in the New Year

Firmly established as a must-see concert and annual tradition among classical music lovers, the brilliantly talented Quiring Chamber Players, Reg Quiring, viola and Rosemary O’Connor, piano, return for their seventh annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Evergreen. This magnificent concert features renowned guest musicians Francois Houle, clarinet, Catherine French, violin and Marina Hasselberg, cello. The program is Mozart Clarinet Quintet, Bright Sheng’s “Tibetan Dance” for clarinet, violin and piano, and on the second half, the Brahms A Major Piano Quartet Op. 26. There will be a sparkling reception following the concert.

New Year’s Eve Party at the John B

The John B has 36 New Year’s Eves under their belt, so you can rest assured that they know how to ring in 2015. This year’s event features a special three course dinner and live music from The Score. Be sure to make your reservations in advance to avoid disappointment.
