KidSport Tri-Cities Swap Meet

There are two things we know for sure about kids. First, sports are a great way to keep active and have fun. Second, kids grow really quickly. So when the time for fall sports rolls around it gets really expensive to gear them up every year. The best way to save some money is to get some used equipment that some other kid grew out of too fast.

KidSport Tri-Cities has been helping kids get in the game since 1993. Their bi-annual used equipment sale is a fantastic way to get your kids quality used sports equipment at great prices. Even better, all the proceeds from the sale go to subsidize registration fees for kids from lower income families. In 2013, KidSport gave 635 registration grants worth over $131,000 to kids right here in the Tri-Cities.

So the first thing they need is your used equipment. Families are encouraged to donate and drop off their used sporting goods of any kind (including bikes) from August 6th – 15th at the following locations:

Swap Meet Dates

Saturday, August 16th, 10am – 1pm
Coquitlam Main Arena
Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex
633 Poirier Ave.
Admission is by donation or item for the food bank

Sunday, August 17th, 11am – 3:00pm
River Market, 810 Quayside Dr., New Westminster

Saturday, September 6th, 10am – 1pm
X-treme Threads Warehouse
