Celebrate at Daisy Day

Daisy Day Austin Heights Coquitlam 2014

What has live entertainment, kids activities, a free pancake breakfast, prizes and a whole lot more in Coquitlam this weekend? It’s the annual Daisy Day festival in Austin Heights, and it’s happening on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 9:00am-3:00pm on the 400 block of LeBleu Street at Austin Avenue.

Head out and celebrate the first day of summer with music, food and fun stuff to do. It’s a local street festival for the whole family. Highlights include face painting and kids crafts, a visit from a Vancouver Whitecaps player, free Giggle Booth photos and a free visit from the Tumblebus for the kids.

The day kicks off with the free pancake breakfast from 9:00-10:30am, prepared by the Coquitlam Optimist Club. It’s the perfect match, because there’s no more optimistic way to kick off your day than with pancakes. There’s a full schedule of entertainment running all day long, with Tony Prophet serving as the ever-able MC. You’ll also see Russian House, Drumorphosis, Chinese dancers, 5 on a String, the Lindbjerg Academy, Fat Jazz and more.

Parking for Daisy Day is at Blue Mountain Church. If that lot is full, overflow parking will be directed to Blue Mountain Park.

See you there!
