What:  The Best of BC Wines Uncorked

The skinny: Come and support your local arts centre at this fall wine-tasting event co-hosted with West Coast Wine Education. Over 35 of BC’s top wineries will be guiding you through seasonal choices for your enjoyment. Local food suppliers will be on hand to tempt you with a delicious array of nibbles. What: Hot Salsa Dance Night
 Saturday, November 2 from 7:30pm
Where:   Evergreen Cultural Centre, 1205 Pinetree Way (map)
The skinny:   Celebrate November with a salsa dance party. This hot event repeats on the first and third Saturday of each month, and includes a dance lesson at 7:30pm. So, there is no excuse for kicking your heels and sashaying those hips. Wiggle it. Tickets $10 at the door.

What: Pacific Wind Ensemble

The skinny:   A tranquil and musical afternoon with one of the leaders in musical education in BC. This collection of wind and percussion players entertains with works by Copland, Barber, Sousa and more in a performance of American Masterworks. Tickets $ are available here.
