Get Ready to Sip and Savour at Best of BC Wines

Best of BC Wines Uncorked Port Moody November 2013

Fall is officially here, which means that many of us are looking ahead to holiday celebrations. If you’re looking for some great wines to share this year, you’ll be glad to hear that Best of BC Wines Uncorked is back. This wine-tasting event happens twice a year in Port Moody, showcasing new and current releases from top BC wineries, and raises funds for the Port Moody Arts Centre. We already mentioned it as one of our six fall must-see events in the Tri-Cities, but it really does warrant its own post. It’s coming up on Saturday, November 2, 2013 starting at 7:00pm at the Port Moody City Hall Galleria [map]. The organizers are pleased to be featuring more than 35 of the best BC wineries.

Best of BC Wines Uncorked is presented by West Coast Wine Education. Wine expert John Gerum started that business to help the general public become more educated consumers in the world of wine. In looking forward to the wine event, John points to the new law in BC that allows diners to bring their own wine to a restaurant. He says, “Sample the newest BC releases and you can decide which wine you would like to bring on your next culinary adventure. The wine list just got bigger!”
