RCMP Community Survey Coquitlam 2013

The Coquitlam RCMP is conducting a confidential online community survey for anyone who lives, works, studies or plays in the Tri-Cities. Your answers will help assess performance, determine upcoming projects, and help guide decisions about where to allocate resources. The survey shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes and you can help out the local cops by going to http://fluidsurveys.com/s/CQRCMP_2013_Community_Survey/.

The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission has made some changes to the riding boundaries in the Tri-Cities. There will be a new Port Moody-Coquitlam riding with New Westminster joining with Burnaby. This being the case, current New Westminster-Coquitlam MP Fin Donnelly has decided to run in Port Moody-Coquitlam in the next election. You can see the new riding boundaries in this PDF.

There’s a new park in Port Coquitlam. With the Dominion Triangle starting to fill in with housing, the original developer Conwest has opened an adventure playground, a tot lot for the tiny kids, plus two acres of lawn. So once you’re done with your Wal-Mart shop, you have a place close by for the kids to run around.

Anmore continues to be under a boil water advisory. This nasty state of affairs has been going on since September 10th. When further information becomes available, you’ll find it at www.anmore.com.

Every year the Georgia Straight runs their Best of Vancouver issue. While there aren’t any Tri-Cities winners, it’s always an interesting read.
