Port Coquitlam May Day Festival 2013

MayDay Port Coquitlam 2013

It’s that time of year again – the days are getting longer and warmer, the air smells of flowers and springtime, and Port Coquitlam is gearing up for its annual May Day Festival. The community has been celebrating since 1923, which means that in 2013 they’re celebrating 90 years. As ever, the festival features more than a week of fun-filled activities including outdoor concerts, community showcases, may pole dancing, amusement rides and, of course, the May Day Rotary Parade. It’s PoCo’s annual big bash, and it’s all kicking off on Friday, May 3, 2013.
