What:  Unique Single Malt Scotch Workshop – Port Moody

The skinny:  Whether you are an aficionado of scotch, or someone who wants to discover more about this unique beverage, this workshop is the perfect fit.  Join a local scotch expert for an informative and interesting session exploring single malt scotches. You will learn about various scotch regions, and how that influences the final taste and aromas of the different scotches. You will be guided through the tasting experience, so you can appreciate the subtle differences between each sample. The skinny:  Ole!… to the real “tequila”! Our Expert, Omar, will explain the fascinating history, growing, and production methods of crafting world class tequila. After an interesting presentation he will guide you through samples of three styles of tequila so you can appreciate the differences and learn which type of tequila to use for different drinks and cocktails. During the evening you’ll have the opportunity to sample the tequilas with traditional salsas and tortillas, which will help you understand the basics of food matching. The evening ends by learning how to mix the perfect Margarita, so the next time you have a party you will be the tequila host with the most!
