Remembrance Day 2012 in the Tri-Cities

Poppy Remembrance Day Tri-Cities

Every year, we join together for a moment of silence. We meet so we can remember those who have risked or given up their lives for our freedom. We remember those who fell during the fight for peace in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and more recent conflicts around the world. More than 1,500,000 Canadians served overseas – more than 100,000 died. They gave their lives and their future so that we may live in peace. Here’s how you can honour their memory this Remembrance Day.
