Flyin’ Bob at Evergreen – Win Tickets!

Evergreen Cultural Centre’s Family Series has a great line-up for 2011/2012, exposing children to fabulous live theatre. So far it’s featured At Nightfall, Dianna David: Take a Closer Look, Hansel and Gretel and The Bremen Town Musicians. Its fifth and final installment, Flyin’ Bob: Be the Circus takes to Evergreen’s Studio Theatre stage on May 6, 2012 at 2:00pm.

The man behind Flyin’ Bob is Bob Palmer. For 20 years, he has brought his unique brand of comedy and physical theatre to over 15 countries. Through juggling, clowning, unicycling, acrobatics, wire walking, audience participation and comedy, Be the Circus stresses the importance of community and the value of failure as well as success. This epic performance that will leave you with renewed energy of future possibilities. Young and old alike learn the rewards and consequences of taking risks and taking responsibility for their own actions. We’re feeling inspired already, just thinking about it.

If you’re looking ahead, Evergreen has just announced the line-up for the 2012/2013 Family Series. Between September, 2012 and March, 2013 they will feature six shows: The Number 14, Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata, Billy Bishop Goes to War, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Henry and Alice: Into the Wild and The 39 Steps.
