We’re getting even closer to Christmas and there are lots of events in the Tri-Cities for you and your family to celebrate the holiday season at. A variety of events this week – Santa sailing on a ship (say that three times fast), wine and cheese salon, Bethlehem walk, lantern festival and a few performing arts events. Enjoy!

What: Bethlehem Walk

The skinny:  Come and let us take you back 2000 years, where you will enjoy a peaceful evening in Bethlehem. Hope Lutheran Christian School (grades K-10) is participating in this production, which includes authentic costumes, realistic sets, and live animals.  There will be guided “walks” through 10 scenes, with refreshments to follow.

What: Santa’s Christmas Ship

The skinny: Once again, local boaters from the Tri-Cities and the Lower Mainland will be lending a warm helping hand to Santa as they cruise their decorated vessels along our neightbouring shores. This year Santa will make two special appearances, once again cruising on the beautiful wooden Christmas ship known as the Kona Kai. 12/16: Cruise into Rocky Point and along north shoreline. 12/17: Cruise along Cates Park, Dollarton shoreline, Deep Cover, Camp Howdy shoreline and Bedwell Bay.

The skinny: Find out how you can easily express yourself. Make 15 professional looking, 1.5 inch pinback buttons or magnets (extra $0.50) using collage, rubber stamping, and fabric. What: Kovan Photo Club Exhibition Opening Reception

The skinny: Evergreen welcomes the 13th annual KOVAN exhibition featuring eighteen Korean photogaphers.
