King Edward Overpass Coquitlam Open

After a few months of traffic tie-ups and limited access to the furniture and gambling facilities of Coquitlam, this Saturday, October 29th the King Edward Corridor reopens to traffic.

Speaking of our gambling facility, The Boulevard Casino got approval from Coquitlam Council to build a new 181 room hotel. The hotel was put off through the economic downturn, and is now back on track.

The long debated cosmetic pesticide ban in Coquitlam had a setback, as council could not agree on the ban and it has been sent back to staff. Selina Robinson has her take on the matter on her blog.
