What: Harry Potter Yepardy

Where:Â Coquitlam Library – City Centre [map]
The skinny: Teens aged 11 to 15: come and test your knowledge of all things Rowling. Form a two- or three-person team and dress up as your favourite Harry Potter characters. Top teams will win prizes. Costume prizes will be awarded to the most impressively garbed teams and audience members. Anyone may watch. Butterbeer will be served.

What:Â 2012 -2016 Port Coquitlam Financial Plan Public Opportunity to Comment

The skinny:Â Port Coquitlam City Council will be holding a public opportunity to comment meeting prior to setting the financial plan guidelines for the 2012-2016 Financial Plan. This opportunity to share your input will be during the regular meeting of the Finance & Intergovernmental Committee. Council will consider the guidelines as revised per the comments received from the public at the next Regular Financial and Intergovernmental Committee Meeting on July 28th, 2011.

What: Summer Sangria Workshop

What: Open House Presentation on Port Coquitlam’s Draft Public Art Policy
