Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is coming up fast, and along with it, Easter egg hunts and other festivities. Luckily, there’s plenty to choose from here in the Tri-Cities. Here’s a sampling of events that you might want to check out to get you in the Easter spirit.

Place Maillardville

Get EggCited about Easter! Children up to 8 years old may participate in an egg hunt, play egg games, decorate eggs and make egg crafts. Pre-registration is required. This is a bilingual event.

Leigh Square Community Arts Village

Get a hop on a new family program at Leigh Square – the 1st annual Easter Arts Celebration for families! Join children’s storyteller and entertainer Aaron Silverton from A Start Art Parlour as she transforms into the funny, personable Mother Goose and brings her tall tales to life. Special appearance by the Easter Bunny. The Easter Arts Celebration also features egg decorating, egg hunt, arts and crafts, and much more. Pre-registration is required.

Mackin House Museum

Join Mackin House for an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt, fun for the entire family! There will also be Easter crafts. Please register early as space is limited. Admission is by donation.

Port Moody Station Museum

Station Museum is holding its annual Easter celebration. The main event is the Easter egg hunt – they hide marbles and kids exchange them for chocolate eggs. Visitors can also enjoy performances by magician Dennis Hewson, dog dancing team Joyce Johnstone and Twinkletoes, and music by Nigel Tucker. Other activities include face painting, photos with the Easter bunny, Easter basket craft with Liz Summerfield, the duck pond prize game and a bubble zone. They’ll even have a special area for toddler egg hunting. They resupply our hidden eggs throughout, so no need to rush.
