Water’s Edge Festival 2011

The Water’s Edge Festival was created as one of the BC Spirit Festivals. And that tradition is continuing this year. With support from the B.C. provincial government, 49 communities across British Columbia are celebrating our Olympic anniversary with festivals created by local artists. Through that initiative, ArtsConnect, Evergreen Cultural Centre and Coastal Sound Music Academy are proud to present the return of Water’s Edge.

The event runs from February 25–27 at Evergreen Cultural Centre [map]. Originally a festival of music, the new and expanded Water’s Edge will embrace many areas of the Arts, including music, dance, visual arts and design.

Main Stage highlights include:

In addition to the main stage performances, there will be workshops, a drum circle, a guitar jam, the Singer/Songwriter Cafe and an exhibition from the art teachers and alumni of School District 43 in the gallery.
