Inlet Park Redevelopment Open House

The City of Port Moody is conducting a feasibility study for the potential future redevelopment of Inlet Park. Here’s a chance to have your say on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Inlet Park, if it doesn’t ring a bell, is the all-weather field at the 3200 block of Murray Street. The fields can be used for both soccer and softball, and is home to the Port Moody Soccer Association. There is a field house, bleachers, and an access trail that connects to Shoreline Trail. Since the field is of the gravel, all-weather variety, I wouldn’t exactly want to attempt a sliding tackle. This extra degree of difficulty may make for tougher soccer players, or it may be why Canada is missing out on the World Cup this month.

The open house will present various park concept plans where you will have the chance to give your feedback.

The Skinny:

When: Wednesday, June 23rd
Where: Inlet Park Field House, 3200 block Murray Street, Port Moody

The City will also be posting a survey online to gather feedback on the various concept plans developed for Inlet Park. If you’d like to receive an email when the survey is ready, or any other information about the open house, contact Marta Taylor at Marta.Taylor@cityofportmoody.com, or visit their website at www.cityofportmoody.com
